Hello, I am Emma, currently a practicum student at Blossom Tree Counselling, where I am diligently working towards completing my Masters in Counselling Psychology. With a solid foundation in psychology built over seven years of academic study, I have delved into various research labs, specializing in developmental and environmental psychology.
In addition to my academic pursuits, I have actively engaged with the community through volunteer work with organizations such as the Vancouver Island Crisis Society and Rainbows in Nanaimo. These experiences have provided me with invaluable insights into the multifaceted challenges individuals face, further fueling my dedication to supporting others on their journey to well-being.
I have a genuine passion for working with individuals of all ages and backgrounds, and I approach therapy with a client-centered, strengths-based, trauma-informed, and multicultural lens. I am excited to be a part of Blossom Tree Counselling and extend a warm invitation to new clients to join me in navigating life’s complexities and fostering personal growth.
